Burlesque and Bequest, was inspired by a theatrical production, Inheritance: Maiden, Mother, Crone (check out the promo video for that show). The book is dedicated to exploring the inheritance, legacy and leadership of women through the eyes of a professional burlesque performer.

By day, I am a tenacious organizational development consultant, business owner, and feminine leadership evangelist. By night, I am a glittery, glamorous vixen, and co-owner of the internationally acclaimed Sinner Saint Burlesque troupe.

I was deeply inspired, obsessed you might say, by Sinner Saint’s show-stopping production, Inheritance: Maiden, Mother, Crone. I had the honor of being the production manager for this show and bringing audiences on a provocative and profound journey exploring what it meant to be a woman. I couldn’t stop there, so I created this book. I interviewed an eclectic group of women who are pioneering the folklore of their souls, and answering these questions for themselves. Take a raw and unapologetic look at how their sex and gender have shaped who they are and what their legacy is. Then, adventure into the stories of your mythology, and answer these questions for yourself. Are you ready to declare a new inheritance for women?
