I learned three amazing pieces of advice from a few brilliant crones I had the pleasure of meeting.
These women inspired me in a number of ways. First, I remembered how much I miss having older mentors. Secondly, they had some gosh darn wise things to say!
My co-workers and I were invited to join two of these women during a new moon ceremony. We relished the evening of begin inspired and held by our new friends. The red tent, where we gathered, was a place to be authentic and bring your whole self. It is open to any woman who is in need of a feminine sanctuary.
Imagine how wonderful it would be to have that space at work and in your home. Imagine how wonderful it would be to create that space for one another. I am so grateful for the welcoming environment they cultivate.
Here are three pieces of sage advice they offered us:
1) "Go to the edge. Everything is on the edge."
2) "Spend time discovering what feels good. Not what you're told should feel good, but what actually does. "
3) "When you make a decision, make the one that makes you bigger, not smaller."
